Aurora’s Charity Update 2023

This year really has got off to a great start. We’ve been able to present both of Aurora’s charities with all the funds we have raised throughout 2022. 

In February, this year, our Charity Committee visited The Isabel Hospice, in Hertfordshire, to present them with their cheque for £3387.17. This will benefit the many families and children that have suffered bereavement, and we’re proud to be sponsoring this charity for the third year in a row. 

Another charity close to our hearts is The Veteran’s Aid Fund, and this month, we also presented them with their cheque for £3387.71. Our charity Committee met with The Veteran’s Aid CEO, Prof. Hugh Milroy, who explained the amazing work that this charity does for its veterans, through its Rehabilitation Programme to help support this community. The Veteran’s Aid also runs, The Belvedere Rehab Centre in Lime House East London, which consists of 66 private rooms, which has a 90% success rate with recovery for its patrons.  

Both charities expressed their heartfelt gratitude for all your support, and we can’t wait to see the difference these donations will make.  We’re hoping, this year, to continue the hard work from last year, to raise money for the two new charities that our employees have voted to support in 2023.
